What better way to start your Friday than with some good, old-fashioned carnage? This time, it’s at the hands (or rather, fins) of giant catfish.
The 1 to 1.5-meter-long European catfish in the French river Tarn have taken a liking to a common resident of Albi, a city through which the Tarn flows. It turns out the pigeons strutting along the riverbed make a delicious meal. Unfortunately, pigeons aren’t waterfowl or marine animals, so the catfish have to compromise.
Watch the gator-like technique the fish have learned as a result.
